About the project.
The company supplies a wide range of seating systems for wheelchairs and individually adjusted solutions for users with special needs. I connection with the expansion of their product range, design concern had to develop a flexible seating system which could be adjusted to fit both big and small users.
The solution became Avanti by AJ where comfort and aesthetics come together. Avanti is a modular and ergonomic seating concept which is competitive in design, flexibility, comfort and price. With its simple design, the seat delivers on even the most demanding customer’s needs.
Avanti was developed in close collaboration between users, experts and specialists. With this method, design concern has managed to create a seating concept where high functionality, quality and design is great but the product is also competitively priced.
The seating system is flexible and can be installed on most wheelchairs. At the same time, the price of the components are reduced in order to be competitive on the market. The seating concept is furthermore easy to adjust for caretakers, technical personel and sales people.
The seat can be adjusted in both width and height – and the flexible, patented hip joint ensures that the back of the chair follows the body’s ergonomics naturally when leaning forwards and back.
