About the project.
The company supplies a wide range of seating systems for wheelchairs as well as customised solutions for users with special needs. I connection with the expansion of their product range, design concern had to develop a flexible seating system which could be adjusted to fit both big and small users.
The solution became Avanti by AJ, where comfort and aesthetics come together. Avanti is a modular and ergonomic seating concept that is competitive in terms of design, flexibility, comfort, and price. With its simple design, the seat meets the needs of even the most demanding users.
Avanti was developed in close collaboration between users, experts, and specialists. In this way, design concern has managed to create a seat concept where high functionality, quality, and design are of the highest level, while still delivering the product at a competitive price.
The seating system is flexible and can be fitted to the vast majority of wheelchair makes, while the price of the components is kept to a minimum to be competitive on the market. The seating concept is also easy to adjust for carers, technical staff, and retailers.
The seat can be adjusted in both width and depth – and the flexible, patented hip joint ensures that the backrest naturally follows the body’s ergonomics when leaning back and forth.
