WooCommerce as webshop.

What is WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is a webshop plugin for WordPress that allows you to sell your products through your WordPress website. This means that you can manage the majority of your webshop with products and order management directly from your WordPress control panel. You therefore don’t need several separate solutions, as you can manage everything from the same control panel. In addition, WooCommerce is also one of the best and most widely used webshop systems, running 39.29% of all webshops worldwide and thereby the largest e-commerce platform in the world.

Since WooCommerce is a plugin for WordPress, your website must be made in WordPress. WordPress is what is called an open source content management system. This means that you can access your website yourself, as well as further develop and make changes to it. It also means that with a WooCommerce plugin you can customize how your webshop should look, since you have access to the open source. With WooCommerce, you therefore get a user-friendly solution that is easy to set up, work with, and manage. The webshop is mobile friendly and can be easily scaled up if needed. Of course, you also have the option to get help with all or part of the task. Maybe you want to update the content yourself and leave the technical stuff to others?

OnPay as a payment solution.

Although we are big advocates of WooCommerce as a webshop solution, WooCommerce can’t do it all. For example, you should be aware that when using WooCommerce, your visitors can only pay by bank transfer, cheque, cash on delivery, and PayPal. If you want your visitors to be able to pay by debit card or via MobilePay, you need to set up a payment gateway. Fortunately, this is very easy, and at design concern we use OnPay for our customers, for example.

With OnPay, you get a payment solution that enables payment by debit card, ANYDAY Split, and ViaBill. In addition, it is also integrated with MobilePay, MobilePay Check-out, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Vipps, and Swish. Moreover, OnPay is PCI certified, which means that the solution complies with the common security standard of the card industry.
